Off-Season Hockey Training

I offer custom, private, off-season programs for hockey players in Kelowna and the surrounding areas. Each program is designed to target the individual needs of the athletes, using proven principles and years of experience as a pro hockey player and strength & conditioning coach. Therefore creating stronger, faster, but most importantly healthier hockey athletes.

Training Programs

The off-season hockey training program starts with a thorough assessment of each individual athlete. Those athletes will then go through a movement analysis to pinpoint any possible movement flaws that they may have. Outlining these flaws will help highlight any performance-limiting movement patterns the athletes may have. Therefore reducing the chances of any non-contact injuries to occur due to those poor movement patterns,  like knee injuries for instance.

Off-season Fitness Testing

The off-season training program will test each athlete’s fitness level. The tests will focus on power, agility, quickness, strength, and anaerobic endurance. It’s also extremely important to establish an athlete’s strengths and weaknesses. Doing this allows us to get the most out of their individual training program. With their results, the athlete will recognize which areas of their performance will require more emphasis during their training. Therefore, quickly guiding them towards their personal hockey goals.
